Fans have continued to wait for the final release date of Westworld season 2. Amid the delay, Luke Hemsworth pointed out that it is worth waiting for.
What could have been his strong basis for saying so? What could be the reasons behind the longer waiting time?
The latest reports have revealed that the second season of the HBO science fiction western thriller TV series will not be released until 2018. This is contrary to previous speculations that it would be out by 2017.
Worth the Wait
In an interview with Independent UK, the 36-year-old Australian actor shared a number of possible reasons why Westworld season 2 release date has been pushed. In fact, filming has not started yet as well.
“They are trying to get it right,” the older brother of Chris Hemsworth said. “They don’t want to go in doing what they were doing last time where they were under the cosh the whole time.”
“They want to go in with a clear plan – A to Z and everything in between – at least have drafts in place,” he added.
In Westworld season 2, the actor will continue to portray the role of Ashley Stubbs, the Westworld security leader. This group ensures the safety of guests.
Man in Black Returns
According to Den of Geek, Man in Black is returning for Westworld season 2. This was personally confirmed by Ed Harris. Man in Black is the sadistic regular guest of the Westworld.
“I was just talking to Jonah Nolan last night, who’s a creator of this thing with his wife Lisa Joy, and yeah, they’re doing another season,” the actor dished about Westworld season 2. “They’re going to do 10 more episodes, and I will be involved.”
Back in November, Casey Bloys disclosed to Entertainment Weekly that the show was renewed for another season.
He emphasized, though, that fans may need to wait until 2018 before seeing it again on the boob tube.
“So I don’t have a date exactly — they’re going to have to map it out and write the scripts — but my guess is sometime in ’18,” he said about Westworld season 2.
