The UnReal season 3 premiere date has yet to be announced but spoilers just keep coming in. The series recently cast Masters of Sex star Caitlin Fitzgerald as the show’s first female suitor.
According to the previous updates about UnReal, Rachel Goldberg (Shiri Appleby) and Quinn King (Constance Zimmer) will face a strong-headed woman in the upcoming third season. Zimmer hinted, “You won’t only have two strong female leads, but we’re going to add a third one.”
On the other hand, in an exclusive interview with Appleby, Entertainment Tonight was able to get further details about Everlasting’s new format. The actress is excited about the show’s return and new story arc.
“We’re so excited and looking forward to it,” Appleby said before adding her point of view about having another female lead. In her interview, she thinks another “strong female” in the cast who can stand up against her character and Quinn is something to look forward to. She also thought of what could happen if these three women face an environment with all of the male contestants.
“It will shake up the show and make everything feel really fresh,” said the actress. “I couldn’t be more excited about it.”
Caitlin Fitzgerald as UnReal Season 3 First Suitress
After Freddie Stroma (season 1) and B.J. Britt (season 2), a new format is set to play in the Bachelor-like series. Fitzgerald will play the role of Serena. She is the first ‘suitress’ of Everlasting as the first two seasons featured both male leads.
According to E! News, Serena is determined to find her love in the fictional dating show. Her personality is said to be something Rachel and Quinn wouldn’t like to see. The character is not afraid to voice out her opinion against the two bosses.
On the other hand, production for UnReal season 3 is set to begin this February in Vancouver. The series returns later in 2017.
