In the latest episode of Undercover Boss will feature a Mulkiteo-based franchise and it’s CEO Jeff Dudan. The reality TV show will also show how its lead technician was surprised about his boss’ hidden agenda.
Undercover Boss will be showing AdvantaClean, a franchise which mitigates and cleans structures and homes which were damaged by fire, water, and wind. When interviewed by Seattle Times, lead technician Kyle Gohr, 24, said he did not know that he was working with his boss.
The business was founded by CEO Jeff Dudan, who pretended to be one of the employees. AdvantaClean has been in the industry since 1994. It has more than 225 locations in different 32 states.
Undercover Boss to Show Employer with Good Ethics
“I was on an actual job, and all of a sudden this guy shows up,” Gohr said. “I had no idea what was happening. We sometimes go through a temp agency to get an extra set of hands so I wasn’t surprised.”
He also described his boss as a good employee who can easily work with other workers like him. He said being included in the reality TV show made him discover that their CEO has good ethics.
“I’m a lead, and I have had experience with temps doing slow work and getting in the way and he wasn’t anything like one of those,” he said. “We clicked well, had a similar mentality and he was a good worker.” Though he cannot dishes out more details about the upcoming episode, Gohr was all praises for his employer, US magazine said.
CFO Dissed by a Franchise Owner
Meanwhile, in the previous episode, the CFO of Painting with a Twist Renee Maloney was criticized. One franchise owner named Steven criticized the CFO, who was undercover as Savannah, a front desk officer. He told the camera, “Savannah was greeting customers. … She was very quiet. She’s sucking the life out of me.”
The Mulkiteo-based franchise AdvantaClean was supposed to be featured last year on Undercover Boss. However, the showing was moved this month. Catch Undercover Boss at 8 p.m. on CBS on Wednesday, January 11.
