Despite her death, Carrie Fisher would still appear on certain episodes of Family Guy. What could be the exciting details of her participation?

Just before 2016 ended, news shocked the world that the famous Princess Leia of the Star Wars saga passed away. However, despite her demise, she still left something for her fans.

According to the latest update about the adult animated sitcom, the late Carrie Fisher will be part of two upcoming episodes of Family Guy.

Actress Reunited With the Show

Variety reported that the late actress already starred in the show in 2005 when she did the voice over for Angela, the supervisor of Seth MacFarlane’s Peter Griffin. She was part of 20 episodes then, including those aired last month.

Meanwhile, there have been no words yet about the final airing schedule of the two highly-anticipated episodes with Fisher. Recording of the episodes happened shortly before her untimely demise.

Co-stars Share Tribute to the Late Actress

The actress’ co-star and friend Seth MacFarlane shared some of his thoughts about the 60-year-old actress who died following a massive heart attack.

“Carrie Fisher was smart, funny, talented, surprising, and always a hell of a fun time to be around,” he tweeted. “Family Guy will miss her immensely.”

In the meantime, Chase Triton wrote, “Angela, Peter’s spinster boss on Family Guy, will have to be written out some how. I doubt they’d kill her off. #carriefisher #familyguy.”

Fisher’s Memorable Roles

Aside from being part of Family Guy for a number of times, Fisher also did some cameo roles for Weeds and Smallville, voiced Princess Leia in the Star Wars parody called Robot Chicken in 2008, Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Before she died, Fisher did Catastrophe season 3 of Amazon. She played the role of Rob Delaney’s mother Mia.

On Instagram, Sharton Horgan, one of Catastrophe’s creators, also posted a sweet note about the late actress.

“She was the most generous, fun, gifted, smart, kind, funny funny funny person I’ve ever met,” she shared. “She certainly wasn’t ready to go.”
