The Flash Season 3 episode 9 definitely showed us lots of things we did not expect. The mid-season finale confirmed Tom Felton’s Julian Dorn as Alchemy.
As the episode opens, it turns out that Julian Dorn was the scientist formerly leading the quest to find the Philosopher’s stone. The said stone had given life to Savitar. However, finding out the stone resulted to the deaths of Dorn’s colleagues. This circumstance made him a fugitive because he was the only one who made out alive.
Julian Dorn Joins Team Flash
This is why he lived a new life by moving to America. Unconsciously, he did not know that Savitar was already tagging along in his journey.
Meanwhile, Team Flash is celebrating the spirit of Christmas despite the struggles. Still, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) was the one who found out Julian Dorn’s involvement with Savitar and Alchemy. One the other hand, Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen seeks help from The Flash of earth 3. As fans all know, Jay Garrick is a complete replica of Allen’s father. He explained that Savitar is the ‘god of speed.’
Moreover, two significant issues were also resolved in The Flash Season 3 episode 9. First was Wally West’s (Keiynan Lonsdale) persistence to be the Kid Flash. Second, Cisco’s continues grief in his brother’s death.
On a brighter note, Savitar was defeated by throwing the Philosopher’s Stone into the speed force. Also, after Julian Dorn cooperated with the Team Flash’s plan. But in the process, Barry Allen saw the future, specifically the death of her beloved Irish West.
Furthermore, Allen’s senior speedster, Jay Garrick, advice him to continue living his life despite knowing the future. The Flash Season 3 episode 9 ended with a Christmas celebration. The CW series is set to return on Jan. 24, Tuesday.
