“No offense to any of the wonderful actresses who have also played the part, but Teri Hatcher is my all time favorite Lois Lane. To have her come back to the SuperWorld in a completely different part is an unbelievable gift to me, Greg, and the fans,” Kreisberg said in a statement.
Mysterious Role for Teri Hatcher in Supergirl Season 2
Reports tease of a mysterious new role for Teri Hatcher to portray in Supergirl season 2. Kreisberg did note her part would be different from her previous character. Thus, Den of Geek suspects it involves some evil behavior on her part making her the villain.
Would her arrival have a connection with Jeremiah Danvers (Dean Cain) and Project CADMUS? Previously, iDigital Times listed the possible villains to watch out for when the show returned last October.
Notable mentions include John Corben (Frederick Schmidt) who eventually becomes Metallo as explained by earlier synopses. In addition, photos teased the arrival of a super villain resembling Roulette (Dichen Lachman).
Talk of the shadow organization suspected to be Project CADMUS also came up. Apparently, it had a hand in the rebirth of John Corben as the super villain Metallo.
The institution supposedly consists of scientists who are very bright and extremely patriotic. Hence, their mission is to eradicate alien life from the planet regardless of who they may be. Indeed, it might be interesting to see Hatcher and Cain together onscreen albeit in different roles.
