The Supergirl season 2 mid-season premiere last week brought fans an intense episode with many firsts. Despite the danger, Slaver’s Moon brought the best out of the characters in episode 9.
Viewers saw how Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) first set foot on another planet. He has been obviously scared but had gained more courage to save Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Mon-El (Chris Wood). It was also the first for the Girl of Steel and her Daxamite friend to encounter Red Sun after being on Earth.
But as the Red Sun strips off their powers while in Slaver’s Moon, many inspiring things happened. This included saving the people who became the victims of human trafficking. It can be remembered that former villain Veronica Sinclair (Dichen Lachman) was the mastermind behind it all.
Meanwhile, many avid followers of The CW series are also looking forward to see what is going to happen next to Maggie (Floriana Lima) and Alex’s relationship. Considering this is Alex’s (Chyler Leigh) first, it remains a mystery if their unique love team will work throughout the season.
Supergirl Season 2 Episode 10
Moreover, the tenth episode of season 2 will reveal a familiar face one would never want to see. The villainous character Livewire will break out of prison. With the help of Mon-El, Supergirl plans to capture her once again.
However, will he be of help or just another burden like old times? As per Comingsoon.net, here is the official synopsis of episode 10 titled We Can Be Heroes:
“After Livewire seemingly breaks out of prison, Supergirl is intent on recapturing her. After training Mon-El, Supergirl takes him with her when she sees Livewire attack the NCPD but things go awry when Mon-El puts Supergirl before the citizens of National City. Meanwhile, James decides to come clean with Kara and M’Gann has a psychic attack and collapses into a coma.”
Episode 11 Synopsis
On the other hand, the last son of Mars and Martian Manhunter will take the spotlight in episode 11 titled The Martian Chronicle. Here is the official synopsis as per Comic Book:
“WHITE MARTIANS ATTACK THE DEO — Armek, a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M’gann back to Mars to face her punishment as a traitor. Hank and Supergirl determine the best way to keep M’gann safe is to bring her to the DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shape-shifted into M’gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could be disguised as any one of them.”
Furthermore, David Harewood, who portrays the role of J’onn J’onzz, posted episode 11’s poster through Instagram due to so much excitement. Supergirl season 2 episode 10 airs on January 30 while episode 11 airs on February 6.
