Stranger Things season 2 star Millie Bobby Brown decided to skip a convention appearance over the weekend due to fatigue.

Brown admitted in a video message for her fans that she needs some rest because of her very busy schedule. The 13-year-old star was supposed to sign autographs and take photos with fans at the Collective Con on Saturday. However, Brown failed to attend the event in Jacksonville, Florida.

The Stranger Things star took Instagram to apologized for those who attended the event to see her. Brown said in the clip:

“Hey guys, I’ve never had to do one of these videos before. But I’ve had to cancel at Collective Con last minute, which is something I’ve never done and I’m planning on never doing again. I just think I’ve worked too hard and I have to rest as I’ve had a really long shoot and I’m still filming Stranger Things. I’m sorry to everyone who’s going and I promise you guys I’m going to get back to you. I love you guys all, thank you so much for your continued support and thank you.”

The conference sent it support to the actress via Twitter and wished her a speedy recovery. Meanwhile, Millie’s co-star Noah Schnapp also pulled out of the event for an unspecified reason, according to E! News.

Both Stranger Things cast members attended almost every major award shows. Brown also signed up as the new model for Calvin Klein fashion campaign and appeared at the New York Fashion Week events this year. She was also featured in several covers of major magazines.

Schnapp (Will Byers) and Brown (Eleven) rose to fame after they appeared in Netflix phenomenal hit show Stranger Things. The series follows the story of a mother, whose son gone missing. With the help of her son’s friends, they found the missing boy trapped in the Upside Down.

What To Expect in Stranger Things Season 2?

The 80s-themed series is currently filming its forthcoming season.

The Duffer brothers earlier gave out some details on what season 2 will be like. Creator Matt Duffer said Will struggles with some sort of post-traumatic stress disorder mental state after being taken by the Demogorgon. He teased that Will sees images from the Upside Down, which he is uncertain whether it’s real or not.

Several new characters are also coming in this season including siblings Billy (Dacre Montgomery) and Max (Sadie Sink) and Dr. Owens (Paul Reiser), who will take over the Hawkins National Laboratory.

Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, who score for the show, also hinted on the soundtrack they are preparing for the Upside Down this season. Stein told Ars Technica:

“The Upside Down is weird and experimental, and we approached it with something like the ‘Alien’ soundtrack, but this music focused on the monster.”

Stranger Things season 2 will kick off on Halloween in Netflix.
