The Star Wars Rebels season 3 finale is almost here and new images surfaced to tease the upcoming episode. A promo clip accompanies the photos, giving an overview of the two-part season ender.
ComingSoon.net offers a gallery of the five photos for Star Wars Rebels Zero Hour. Among the things the stills showcase include Grand Admiral Thrawn (Lars Mikkelsen).
In one of the photos, Thrawn views a projection of what appears to be a map. Given the previous events in the series, it seems this is the moment the villain learns about the Phoenix Squadron’s hidden base. Another photo appears to tease the attack of the Imperial Navy against the squadron’s base.
The promo sneak peek appears to be more straightforward by highlighting the finale’s upcoming battle scene. Screen Crush shares the finale’s synopsis.
In final preparations for their attack on Lothal, Phoenix Squadron’s plans are disrupted when Grand Admiral Thrawn discovers their location.
Trapped on Atollon with the rebel base under siege, Hera and Kanan fight to keep the squadron alive, as Ezra attempts to rally help from an unexpected source.”
Star Wars Rebels Season 3 Finale
Based on the promos, the one hour event from the series promises an action-packed ending for events of the season. The synopsis for Part One alone ensures that the finale will open with Thrawn’s attack on the squadron.
Meanwhile, the synopsis for Part Two also offers an interesting bit. According to the text, Ezra (Taylor Gray) enlists the help of an unexpected source. Based on the promo, it appears the unexpected source is none other than Sabine (Tiya Sircar) and her family.
Fans will recall that in the Legacy of Mandalore episode, Sabine left the Rebels to stay with her family in Mandalore. At the time, Ezra and Kanan (Freddie Prinze, Jr.) does not argue with the decision, knowing that Sabine herself knows what she’s doing.
Now, it is more likely shaping up that Sabine’s time on her home planet would prove fruitful for the big battle promised in the finale. It is still uncertain if the Mandalorians will rally behind the Rebels at their time of need. However, it seems likely that Sabine’s agreement to Ezra’s request is guaranteed.
When the battle is done and the dust has settled, one possible scenario that could happen is Sabine finds a leader for Mandalore. This will then pave the way for her to join the rebels.
Fans will find out the Rebels’ fate once the Star Wars Rebels season 3 finale airs this March 25 in Disney XD.
