Sleepy Hollow Season 4 is now on the roll and the premiere episode featured a number of changes following the death of Abbie Mills. It did not only introduced a host of new characters but also explored new demons across Washington DC.

The new characters in Season 4 include Diana Thomas, Ichabod Crane’s new partner, Jake Wells, a cataloger of supernatural phenomenon and engineer Alex Norwood.

Sleepy Hollow Season 4 Episode 2 to Follow a Case Involving Witchcraft

The first episode revealed that Molly, Diana’s 10-year-old daughter, fainted two weeks before Ichabod and her mother met. She even sketched Ichabod’s face. These could be indications that Molly is the new witness.

Sleepy Hollow Season 4 Episode 2, titled In Plain Sight, will involve a witchcraft case. According to the official synopsis, Crane and Diana will discover something highly important. They will also try to break a difficult news to the Homeland Security Agent.

“After a big discovery, Crane and Jenny struggle with breaking some difficult news to Diana. Meanwhile, the team learns that there may be witchcraft involved in a new case. Can Crane find a way to tell Diana what he knows?” the Cartermatt quoted the official synopsis.

Since they are dealing with a witchcraft case, it is to see whether Crane will reveal Katrina to Diana. Katrina was Crane’s former wife who practiced witchcraft, the International Business Time reported.

The promo for the upcoming episode shows the return of the Headless Horseman. It also revealed that Crane learns that someone is unleashing dangerous supernatural creatures into the Washington DC. However, it won’t be long before he finds out that the tech billionaire Malcolm Dreyfuss is the culprit.

Jenny and Ichabod are also seen arguing over Diana in the promo, in which Jenny assures the professor that she can handle this.

According to the promo, Crane and Jenny takes Diana to an invisible witch house. However, it turns out that it was a wrong decision on the part of the team. The witch abducts Diana while the team is busy investigating the case.

The premiere episode of the fourth season recorded only 2.2 million views and a 0.6 rating, the TV Line reported. On the contrary, Season 3 premiere pulled in 3.5 million viewers and 1.0 rating.

Sleepy Hollow Season 4 episode 2 will air on January 13 at 9 p.m. EST on Fox.
