With the telecast of Shadowhunters Season 2 on Freeform, it is now clear that Simon is realizing that contrary to what he thought, his vampire abilities are not as powerful. Meanwhile, can Jace come out of his perils?
Shadowhunters Season 2 will have nine episodes in total. As Simon (Alberto Rosende) sharpens his supernatural powers, he is being accompanied by Raphael Santiago (David Castro), another fellow vampire.
Castro Shares His Thoughts and Experiences
Castro spoke to International Business Times recently and said he had a great time working with Rosende. The Freeform star admitted that he is quite fond of Rosende’s role in the show. He told the outlet, “I like Alberto’s role….I find him hilarious.”
Viewers can see the duo sharing a lot of screen time in Shadowhunters Season 2. Castro mentioned, “Because Simon is now a vampire, I do have a lot of interaction with him. We have scenes together and it’s a lot of fun.”
According to International Business Times, Castro never fancied himself in the role of a vampire in the first place. The star further added, “I always saw myself as a werewolf, I never thought I would be a vampire, always thought I’d be a werewolf. Never, never thought I’d be a vampire but I am and I’m so happy about it.”
Jace’s Life to Transform as He Separates from His Familiar World
Episode 3 will focus on a lot of different things but the most important one will be Jace observing the change in his life after entering into a new world altogether. CarterMatt reported that it can be a great challenge for him going forward.
The character may have to face some big allegations while trying to figure out how he can maintain his own safety. He may even need the help of some people to keep him secure.
Shadowhunters Season 2 airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on Freeform.
