The hit TV series, Scandal season 6 will be airing soon and it seems like this will not be the last season for the show because it just keeps getting better every season. The creator of the show, Shonda Rhimes clarified that the show will not be over anytime soon.
Shonda Rhimes Tweeted About The Status Of Scandal Season 6
Rhimes had made it clear that the American TV series had not reached the end yet by tweeting, “Whoa, @GMA: I never said this was the final season of #scandal. Way to make me spit out my coffee!” Reports suggested that the season 6 of the hit TV show will be focusing on the elections.
According to TVLine season 5 of the show featured the remarkable moments of Millie Grant, the Republican candidate who runs for presidency against Frankie Vargas. Speculations suggested that Vargas will win against Grant, however the only way to find out if it is true is to watch the upcoming premiere of the new season.
Viewers were also shocked after learning that David Rosen was having an affair with Susan Ross in season five. Fortunately, the affair did not last long for Ross found out that Rosen believes she would not win the elections without him.
Another shocker of the last season was when Olivia Pope beated Governon Andrew Nichols. She hurt him by hitting him with a metal chair, which left him bleeding as he lied down the floor.
In the meantime, International Business Times unveiled that the women lead stars of Grey’s Anatomy Season 13, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder sat down in a living room, while they enjoyed popcorn and red wine. A 34-second clip was released on the internet showing Kerry Washington, Ellen Pompeo and Viola Davis discussing their characters in the short video.
Reports suggested that season 6 of the show will have a total of 16 episodes rather than 22. The new season will be airing on January 19, 2017.
