Jughead deals with the unexpected return of his father Forsythe but it might not be the only unpleasant situation for him in Riverdale chapter 7.

Cole Sprouse Talks about Jughead in Riverdale Chapter 7
Sprouse shared details about his role. The actor told Access Hollywood:
“Jughead, like his role in the town slowly but surely ramps up as a much more prevalent character throughout the season with his personal life being investigated really from Episode 7 onward and becoming one of the primary storylines, which … I think fans are really going to resonate with. But Jughead is this kind of Holden Caulfield, this tortured little youth, and I think people are really going to enjoy that.”
The description for Riverdale chapter 7 hints about the strained relationship of Jughead with his father (Skeet Ulrich). Apparently, Forsythe is a member of the Southside Serpents. This is why Jughead chose to live in an old movie house than be with him.
As expected, their reunion is not as pleasant as either seemed to want. Then again, it appears the father and son want nothing more than to resolve their issues and be a family once again.
In the Riverdale chapter seven trailer, Jughead tells Archie (KJ Apa) he is not giving up on his father. In return, Forsythe promises his son he will change.
However, his son is not the only one who has an issue with him. As it turns out, his return brings back to life his beef with Fred (Luke Perry). Moreover, the ongoing murder mystery raises questions about him.
Yet it appears Jughead is also under suspicion. Towards the end of the teaser trailer, the police invite him to the station for questioning. His situation appears to get worse when he asks for a lawyer.
