Quantico Season 2 plans to return with a bang. The show’s midseason premiere will showcase how the CIA trainees are being taught the art of seduction. The synopsis of Episode 9 hints that things could be pretty tough for the agents.
According to the ABC drama, “The recruits are schooled in the art of seduction, which Alex sees as a perfect opportunity to get closer to Owen, but will it threaten her relationship with Ryan?”
Alex and Ryan May Have More Conflicts
Recently, though, Alex (Priyanka Chopra) accepted the marriage proposal made by Ryan (Jake McLaughlin). However, it appears that Ryan is still keeping some secrets close to his heart.
Ryan and Alex’s relationship is shaky now. They may argue over Alex interacting with Owen (Blair Underwood). Moreover, Ryan’s former wife Hannah (Eliza Coupe) could also appear in the upcoming midseason premiere and may even cause more tension between the two.
Apart from these two, others may also have to handle certain romantic issues. Joshua Safran uploaded a picture from Quantico Season 2 Episode 9 titled Cleopatra, which shows Sebastian (David Lim) locking lips with Harry (Russell Tovey).
The future of some of the characters in Season 2 appears to be quite intense. When the first part of Season 2 ended, it was revealed that Ryan was a terrorist.
According to International Business Times, the synopsis of Episode 9 teases, “Alex finally gets the answers she’s been looking for about who and what the terrorists are on.” However, the answers do not seem to be quite simple. In Quantico Season 2 midseason premiere, Alex will tell Shelby that terrorists might not be villains necessarily.
Meanwhile, Cinema Blend reported that though Quantico‘s rating has fallen during Season 2, the producers are trying their best to improve things. Safran has shared that when the show returns; there could be a big change for the viewers.
The show will not have its flashbacks after it resumes. The showrunner feels that many viewers did not like the flashbacks that were shown during Season 1.
