Did Ryan Reynolds hint a #BondVerinePool collaboration? Could the actor’s Instagram post with Hugh Jackman and Pierce Brosnan be confirmation of a previous Bond playing Cable in Deadpool 2?
Reynolds is known for trolling his fans ever since his alter ego, Deadpool, teased the sequel for Marvel’s popular antihero. Though nothing has been confirmed about these alleged hints for the next movie, it did not stop fans from speculating that he might not be fooling around after all.
Pierce Brosnan as Cable
The Instagram post shows Reynolds’ comeback to his teasing saga. He posted a photo on his official Instagram account, vancityreynolds, where he posed alongside Jackman and Brosnan. He captioned the photo with, “Wolvie. Bond. Wade.”
The actors made the “hear no evil, speak no evil, and see no evil” mantra. Since then, fans started wondering if the Bond actor is “the one” who will bring Cable to life.
Discussions on who might be playing the character made the Internet rounds since Reynolds teased that Cable will appear in Deadpool 2. A number of actors since then got the attention of fans and the most recent one is Brosnan.
Since he posed with two Marvel characters in the Instagram photo, movie buffs and Marvel fans are now more convinced that Brosnan will play Cable. Some comments expressed that the strongest word to describe the photo is “epic.”
However, though majority loved the idea, there are fans who think that there is someone out there more fit to play Cable than Brosnan. One fan said, “Kevin Nash, absolutely 100% perfect for the role.”
He Might Not Be Cable After All
On the other hand, there is also another picture that Reynolds did not post on his Instagram account. The Hollywood Reporter noted that this other photo found on the actor’s Facebook page cannot be overlooked.
The three actors were seen laughing, giving an impression that they might just be fooling around. This could mean that Brosnan may not really be Cable after all.
