Lethal Weapon Season 1 Episode 17 Synopsis
According to CarterMatt, the key themes for the last two episodes of Lethal Weapon would likely focus on the present and the future. The death of Miranda (Floriana Lima) continues to weigh heavily on Riggs. Although it has already been over a year, he still acts out to escape his guilt over it.
So, while he might not want to miss the chance at happiness with Palmer, old habits die hard. As a result, Riggs becomes more impetuous on the field. An attribute Murtaugh does not particularly like. Hence, the greater chance he would start to think about looking for career options once again. Then again, Riggs would likely figure out a way to upset his plans.
As it turns out, Murtaugh might not be the only one contemplating a career change. According to the Lethal Weapon season 1 episode 17 synopsis, Trish (Keesha Sharp) will explore a new career opportunity. The job could possibly be unrelated to her previous job as District Attorney.
Lethal Weapon Season 2 Renewal
The action-comedy drama reboot of the popular movie franchise received the greenlight for season 2 last February. Indeed, the buddy cop series proved to be a solid performer for Fox according to Variety.
Lethal Weapon averages a 1.6 rating in the 18-49 key demographic. It has also has an average audience share of 6.63 million. In total, its viewer average across linear and digital platforms is at 11 million per episode. Fox Broadcasting entertainment president David Madden shared:
“‘Lethal Weapon’ continues to fire on all cylinders. Every week, it delivers a big, fun rollercoaster ride, but also remains touchingly human and genuinely emotional, and that’s due to the chemistry that’s developed not only between Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford, but the entire cast. We want to thank our producing partners, Warner Bros., as well as Matt Miller, McG, Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz, who have done a fantastic job in crafting a series for which a second-season order is well deserved.”
