The Christmas holidays are over and the cast and crew are back on Outlander Season 3’s sets. Matthew B. Roberts, the co- executive producer of the show, made the announcement by teasing an intriguing behind-the-scenes picture.
Matthew B. Roberts Teases Picture of Stable
As the production team films the Scotland scenes, they have some scenes with the horses too. Roberts shared a stable’s picture where some horses can be seen.
There was also a carriage’s picture that was used in a scene they shot already. It was declared by Roberts through this picture that work has resumed on the sets once again.
Shooting is over for half the episodes that will be aired as part of Outlander Season 3. This also included the famous Print Shop scene.
Soon, the team will shift their base to South Africa where scenes of Jamaica and the sea voyage will be filmed. Outlander Season 3 is based on Voyager, a book by Diana Gabaldon.
Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s Philanthropic Work
Christmas is usually that time of the year when most people including the cast members like to enjoy and relax with their families. However, a few of them had different ideas altogether.
International Business Times AU Edition reported that both Sam Heughan (Jamie) and Caitriona Balfe (Claire) are actively associated with philanthropic activities. Heughan has his own initiative called My Peak, which helps people to get physically, as well as, emotionally stronger.
Balfe, on the other hand, has been busy working with World Child Cancer and promoted the organization’s activities during the vacation.
Following the norm of season 2, Outlander season 3 is also expected to have 13 episodes in total. However, the release date is yet to be announced by the show’s producers.
Meanwhile, ET had interviewed the lead pair some time back and when Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe were asked what they were looking forward to in the New Year; they mentioned that it was the exotic locations where the team has been shooting for Season 3
