Stranger Things Season 2 star Noah Schnapp, who plays the role of William Byers recently teased what will happen to his character in the sequel. Will he become a monster or not?

Ever since the first season finale, fans have been wondering what the last scene was all about. Will vomited a slug that was also seen in Barb’s dead body. Since then, TV buffs started speculating that maybe the boy will eventually turn into a monster, a Demogorgon perhaps.

Stranger Things Season 2, Will’s Possible Transformation

In Vanity Fair’s exclusive interview with the cast, Schnapp and Finn Wolfhard (Mike) reveals essential information about the sequel. Clues about the possible fate of Will and the season 2 plot tone were all discussed.

Viewers have been wondering about the part where Will threw up a slug. Speculations, predictions, and forums surfaced on the internet discussing that certain scene. Though nothing has been confirmed yet, it looks like Schnapp ga a hint about it.

Schnapp confirmed that fans will be seeing more of his character this time, unlike last season. The young actor also noted the last episode of season 1 which became the talk of the town. He seems to hint that while he looks happy having dinner with his family, Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Jonathan (Charlie Heaton), there’s something going on with him.

“There may have been some effect on him,” says Schnapp. “I may or may not have turned into a monster. You’ll have to watch to find out,” he added.

Moreover, the 12-year-old American child actor also said, the mysterious scene in season 1 will be answered in season 2. Schnapp says the sequel will begin “with what happens from there.”

Finn Wolfhard talks characters’ growth

On the other hand, Wolfhard hinted that the upcoming episodes will show their character’s growth. Adding that since they have done the first part, they are now more aware of who their characters are.

“I think we’ve grown up a little bit, and our characters have too. They have been through a lot and have used those experiences to help them grow and to be stronger in season 2.”

Meanwhile, it is already confirmed that along with other new cast members, Millie Bobby Brown and Ryder will both return for Stranger Things season 2.
