It will be a final battle for Nick Burkhardt in Grimm series finale this week.
Amidst mourning the death of his two loyal allies, Nick (David Giuntoli) needs to take down his greatest nemesis of all – Zerstörer. Now that Nick finds himself powerless against the skull-face nemesis, the Portland detective will turn to his ancestors for strength to defeat the skull-face demon.
In the previous episode, Nick’s team had a devastating loss. Zerstörer launched an attack at the precinct that left two of Nick’s friend — Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) — dead. At the end, Zerstörer also overpowered Nick.
In the series finale, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) and Adalind (Claire Coffee) will do their best to protect Diana (Hannah R. Loyd) and Kelly as the Zerstörer goes after them. The villain is particularly interested to make Diana his bride. Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) also joins the group and will do everything she can to stand by her fellow Grimm.
A teaser for the upcoming series finale suggests that Zerstörer finally found the house in the woods where the group hides Diana. The clip shows Nick telling Trubel to take Kelly and leave.
Adalind is also seen screaming to an unknown companion to run while the Zerstörer is closing in. Is Adalind ready to sacrifice her own life to save her children?
Elsewhere, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), Rosalee (Bree Turner), and Eve (Bitsie Tulloch) work together at the spice shop to search for answers and help Nick defeat their enemy. They will eventually find out a rare potion that may help them win the battle.
The Stick in Grimm Series Finale
The origin of the stick was revealed in Zerstorer Shrugged episode. Monroe, Rosalee, and Eve figured out that the stick is actually a long-hidden piece of wood from Zerstorer’s powerful staff.
It turned out that the stick is the final piece of a powerful staff that was broken into 100 pieces. The group figures Zerstörer assembled the pieces and Nick’s stick is the last piece. Zerstörer needs to have the last piece to get his staff to full power.
Giuntoli earlier hinted that the stick would play a huge role in the conclusion of NBC’s supernatural series. Grimm co-creator David Greenwalt added Nick would regret in the end that he had become dependent on the stick. He told TV Guide:
“Very soon [Nick is going to regret being so dependent on the stick], and ultimately very tragically and sadly.”
