Since the early 2000’s, The Apprentice might be one of the shows that have been popular to the public. The show is back but with a twist because this time, it would be The New Celebrity Apprentice.

The new U.S. President Donald Trump was the host for the first 14 seasons. The show captures the skills and potentials of the group of contestants. Each season has its own theme and so far, the new chapter would be about the aspiring candidates.

Veteran actor and politician Arnold Schwarzenegger will be hosting the new Celebrity Apprentice, along with his nephew, model Tyra Banks and other big names in different industries. The season 8 premiere of the reality show on NBC at 8 pm will feature 16 participants.

Each of them needs to present a 10-minute beauty experience video. After that, the contestants need to produce an original song and music video for Trident, reports Uproxx.

Well, there are many elements of surprise that comprise The New Celebrity Apprentice. Here are five things to know about the upcoming reality show.

Rock and Roll duet

Who is expecting the Motley Crue singer Vince Neil and Culture Club frontman Boy George having a duet for this stint? The rock star told Billboard that the collaboration and his participation enlighten him.

“We had our times together. For music fans, one of the tasks is me and Boy George do a song together. It actually turned out really good, so I can’t wait for everybody to see it.”

Neil also explains the hard work required for joining The New Celebrity Apprentice. But he added that the enjoyed the filming albeit that the host is quite intimidating.

Powerhouse Cast

Aside from Neil and George, other contestants include Carnie Wilson, Laila Ali, Eric Dickerson, Brooke Burke-Charvet, Matt Iseman, Carrie Keegan, Carson Kressley, Lisa Leslie, Jon Lovitz, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Kyle Richards, Chael Sonnen, Porsha Williams and Ricky Williams.

The Prize

The prize at stake is $250,000 which will be awarded on their choice of charitable institution.

Some of the charities that have the chance of receiving the massive prize are Keep Memory Alive, Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America, and North Shore Animal Leauge Alliance, to mention a few.

More dramas, twists, and turns

According to Polizzi, being one of the contestants is already nerve-racking. Well, the viewers might expect more dramas when “The New Celebrity Apprentice” airs on January 2 until February 13.
