Another month is coming and that means new content for one of today’s largest streaming service. Check out what’s in store for the Netflix March 2017 lineup.
Digital Trends reports that original series behind big names will be making their way to the service next month. Two original movies from the platform are also coming out. Finally, new seasons of hit comedy shows are also airing in March.
These comedy shows include Grace and Frankie, Love and Trailer Park. Grace and Frankie‘s third season premieres on March 24. Love season 2 drops on March 10 while Trailer Park season 11 releases on March 31.
Original Series Coming on Netflix March 2017
One of the big names coming to the streaming service is Marvel’s Iron Fist. This is the fourth series coming to the platform following Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. It stars Finn Jones as Iron Fist/Danny Rand.
It is also the last series before all four Defenders unite for the next series titled Marvel’s The Defenders. The latest feature released about the character shows Danny Rand returning to his life in New York, only to find out that major changes happened while he was gone. Marvel’s Iron Fist premieres on March 17.
Meanwhile, another series behind a big name is 13 Reasons Why. Based on Jay Asher’s 2007 novel, the series tells the story of a high school girl who committed suicide. The girl–named Hannah–leaves 13 recordings for 13 people who she thinks were responsible in pushing her to kill herself.
Selena Gomez serves as executive producer and even considers the series as her passion project. It stars Dylan Minnette, Katherine Langford, Christian Navarro, Jillian Nordby and Michael Sadler, among others. The series drops on March 31.
Aside from the originals, other series making their way to Netflix on March according to Thrillist include The Vampire Diaries season 8, How to Get Away with Murder season 3, Better Call Saul season 2 and Archer season 7.
Shows Leaving in March
While new content make their way to the service, other shows’ time are up. Digital Trends details that among the series leaving Netflix in March include Robin Hood (seasons 1-3) and Survivors (1-2).
As for movies, Jaws 1, 2, 3 and Jaws: The Revenge will be removed from the service beginning March 1. Hansel and Gretel leaves Netflix on March 7 while Love Me and The Invincible Iron Man only streams until March 23.
