It’s almost time for another month again and TV/streaming service lovers will certainly be curious for the Netflix April 2017 lineup. Find out which series and movies are leaving the platform and what new content will arrive for the new month.

Keeping in line with the service’s consistency, Netflix offers interesting titles for April. In terms of movies alone, a number of iconic names will grace the platform next month.

Some of them include 1984’s A Nightmare on Elm Street, Schindler’s List, Tropic Thunder and Gremlins. These memorable titles will arrive by April 1. However, Netflix also has some newer offerings including Disney’s The BFG which arrives April 4.

USA Today also notes that a number of movies and series bearing the Netflix Original tag makes its way to the service. Netflix Original Films coming for the new month include Win it All, Tramps and The 101-Year-Old Man Who Skipped Out on the Bill and Disappeared, among others.

Meanwhile, Netflix Original series new for this April include Hot Girls Wanted: Turned On and Bill Nye Saves the World. All three titles drops on April 21.

The controversial first season of Dear White People premieres on April 28. Consequently, those looking to binge on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 2 can start doing so when it becomes available on April 12.

What’s Leaving for Netflix April 2017

As a batch of new content make their way to the streaming service, Netflix also has to let go some. Polygon notes that a number of series leaving next month are pretty iconic ones.

The source lists Ally McBeal, Angel, Arrested Development, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, House, Roswell and The X-Files as the bigger names saying goodbye to the platform come April. With only a few days left in March, now is a good time to finish up on these leaving shows. However, Arrested Development season 4 will still remain on the service.

Bones season 1 to 4 will also be removed from the lineup once April starts. Joining these notable series is the batch of Superman movies including the first three parts and Superman Returns.

Aside from Superman, other movies will also bid the service adieu. The Princess Bride is only available until April 1, Collateral Damage until April 3 and The Lazarus Effect until April 14.
