Senior Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs’ team will investigate the death of a Marine in NCIS season 14 episode 19. However, two of his agents will also look deeper into rumors circulating about their fellow agents.
A rumor involving Agents Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito) and Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) is swirling around the Navy Yard. This prompted Agents Tim McGee (Sean Murray) and Eleonor Bishop (Emily Wickersham) to investigate the buzz on their own.
Many speculate that Quinn and Torres are actually dating since they are spending a lot of time together. Are they really dating?
It seems like Quinn doesn’t mind Gibbs’ (Mark Harmon) rule # 12 – never date a co-worker. She had dated fellow agent before. Remember NCIS Special Agent Tony Francis (Tony Gonzalez) in episode 5?
As for Torres, fans had a glimpse of his past love in the previous episode. It was revealed how vulnerable Torres can be when it comes to someone close to his heart.
In episode 18, it was revealed that Torres had a childhood sweetheart, Sofia, who died of cancer. The agent confessed to a dying Navy officer that he knew at the time he saw Sofia at the high school cafeteria that he will marry her one day.
However, Sofia was diagnosed with cancer in her senior year. Nick said they were hopeful that she is going to be okay until the treatment did not work on her.
If the dating rumor between Quinn and Torres is true, will this put their jobs in jeopardy?
NCIS Season 14 Episode 19 Case of the Week
The NCIS team will also be called in to investigate the death of a Marine. He was murdered during an event honoring the veterans of World War II as well as those who fought in the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
In the episode titled The Wall, a non-profit organization called the Honor Flight Network organized an event to give the veterans a chance to visit the memorials for free. However, the event was spoiled when the dead body of a Marine is discovered.
In the course of the investigation, the team finds out that the only one person that can help them clear the mystery is Henry Rogers (Bruce McGill). The Vietnam war veteran could provide details on the victim’s whereabouts throughout the day he was killed.
Rogers is still feisty but difficult to deal with. No doubt Gibbs could deal with him. However, the challenge to the NCIS team is how they will get info of the murderer’s whereabouts from the war veteran in time?
NCIS season 14 episode 19 will air Tuesday (March 28) at 8 p.m. EDT in CBS.
