Chemistry will be undeniable when Mom season 4 episode 11 rolls around. Not only will Anna Faris share the screen with a handsome lad, he also happens to be her real-life husband.
Chris Pratt will be returning to small screens as a guest star for CBS’ Mom. Entertainment Weekly first reported the actor’s upcoming appearance back in October.
The source offers details on Pratt’s role. “In the episode that will air early in 2017, Pratt will play Nick, a charming (natch!) horseback riding instructor who Christy (Faris) decides to pursue — despite the fact he’s the nephew of Marjorie (Mimi Kennedy), who declared him off-limits.”
While uncertain before, it has now been confirmed that Pratt guest stars in episode 11 of the show. Titled Good Karma and the Big Weird, it airs January 19.

The Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World actor was also more than willing to spill secrets on his scenes on the show. An ET Online exclusive details Pratt’s and Faris’ thoughts on the episode.
The source quotes Pratt as saying, “We have a sex scene, like a sexy scene. We’ve been rehearsing that for 10 years.” The actor further shares how he enjoyed working on set and seeing his wife in that environment.
For Faris’ part, the actress dishes that her character and Pratt’s “get to have this really nice relationship.” Co-star Allison Janney also has good things to say for the couple. According to Faris’ on-screen mom, the couple has great chemistry together whether it’s on screen or off.
Movie lineup for Pratt
Despite the time for cameo, Pratt is pretty busy with projects for the big screen. He’ll reprise his role as Peter Quill/Star-Lord for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The film debuts on May 5.
Meanwhile, Jurassic World 2–to which Pratt is also involved in–potentially releases in 2018. The film serves as sequel to the 2015 Jurassic Park reboot.
Most recently, Pratt starred opposite Jennifer Lawrence in the sci-fi film Passengers. Despite earning negative reviews from critics, it went on to become a box office success.
