The latest Marvel’s Inhumans news seem to reveal a potential actress who could be part of the cast. Could she be one of the Inhuman Royal Family?

Arrow actress Elysia Rotaru emerged as a subject of rumors after a reply on Twitter. Rotaru expressed her excitement to a photo posted by Roel Reine. The director will helm the first two episodes of the series, which will debut on IMAX theaters.

Marvel Studios News‘ Sean Gerber noticed the activity, immediately seeing a potential connection between the actress and the project. The source relayed Reine’s post showing an IMAX camera test.

Consequently, he quoted Rotaru as saying, “This Is gonna be amazing @roelreine @IMAX @Marvel @MarvelStudios @theinhumans @ABCNetwork can’t wait.” At first glance, the reply could simply mean the actress is a fan of the upcoming show.

However, it is also hard to neglect the fact that she could be on the series. It seems she has a certain familiarity not only with Reine but Marvel Studios as well.

If Rotaru is indeed part of the Inhumans cast, Marvel Studio News further theorizes that she could play Medusa. The source explains, “The highest profile of all those potential roles is Medusa, queen and often voice of the Inhuman Royal Family. Rotaru certainly looks the part, if Medusa is her role.”

Social Media and Casting News

Nevertheless, although social media activity could be a good basis for gathering casting news, it is not always reliable. One recent example to prove this is Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger casting.

Reports last week theorized that Debby Ryan and Noah Gray-Cabey could be handling the titular roles for Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger. The basis for this also stemmed from the social media activities of showrunner Joe Pokaski and the two young actors.

However, confirmation of casting today debunked this theory. Instead of Ryan and Cabey, Aubrey Joseph and Olivia Holt will star in Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger.

Marvel’s Inhumans News and Other Details

Despite its unknown cast, a few known details already exist for Marvel’s Inhumans. The series debuts on ABC this September 26. The IMAX screening of the first two episodes happen weeks before the television premiere.

Iron Fist showrunner Scott Buck also handles the same role for Inhumans. While the fourth Defenders installment has yet to drop in Netflix, fans could expect an in-depth treatment of the source material.

All that fans can do for now is wait for an official announcement on the show’s cast. Check back for more Marvel’s Inhumans news and other updates.
