Fans of Lucifer Season 2 will have to wait a few weeks longer to see if the Devil and Chloe finally kissed. The series is currently on hiatus and will return this January. When it returns, fans can expect to learn why Chloe is special.
Lucifer Season 2 is on a roll. The series’ sophomore season has been such an enjoyable ride that the show’s numbers have been steadily increasing. The introduction of new characters and Charlotte’s plans to get herself and her sons back to heaven have certainly given fans more to look forward to.
Lucifer Season 2 Episode 10 saw God’s wife trying to get Chloe to betray her partner by forcing her to call him a liar. Instead, the detective admitted to everyone that Lucifer never lies. While it resulted in the case against her father’s killer being dismissed, it pushed the two closer together.
Lucifer and Chloe Getting Closer
The previous episode ended on two interesting notes. One was Chloe and Lucifer enjoying dinner together and later appearing to be getting close for a kiss. The second was Amenadiel revealing to his mother that God had asked him to bless a previous couple and that the offspring of that union is Chloe.
As the International Business Times pointed out, this would explain why Chloe is able to withstand Lucifer’s charms. It could also be the reason why the handsome devil becomes physically vulnerable in her presence. Unfortunately, her unique heritage has also made her the perfect pawn in whatever game that Lucifer and Amenadiel’s mother is playing.
A Lucifer Season 2 trailer teases that Charlotte is indeed planning something and Amenadiel is trying to talk her out of it. She is seen talking to Chloe and telling her how different Lucifer is with her. Is she trying to manipulate Chloe? Will she tell him what he really is?
Fans have a lot of questions, and hopefully they will be answered when Lucifer Season 2 returns on January 16, 2017, Monday.
