Fans of Legends of Tomorrow may relax now because the show will be back for a new season. But take note of the changes; because the latest news revealed that the show schedule is moved to a different night and timeslot.
Arrow and the Flash may not be enough to suffice the DC fanatics. So, CW produced another television series- which is the latest among the three, only with exciting twists.
So far, Legends of Tomorrow is just done with the first season. Returning for Season 2.5, the viewers are expecting new heights to the show’s storyline.
According to Screen Rant, the show will be back on The CW Tuesday, January 24 at 9 pm right after the Flash. The previous season was aired on Thursdays at 8 pm.
On the other hand, The Flash will still be on Tuesdays while Arrow sticks on it usual airing during Wednesdays. What could be the main reason for this sudden change of schedule?
The outlet noted that moving the timeslot might be a big help to complete crossovers and finish a story in one night. More than that, the change might also boost the ratings for the new superhero show.
What could viewers expect from season 2.5?
While the first season featured the chase of Vandal Savage, the first half of the second season was focused on other things. Instead of tracking down the sole enemy, the writers must have decided that the superheroes should be doing other things.
However, the outcome of the sudden refocusing gathers a rather positive impact on the audience. This time, the watchers should expect Atom, White Canary, Firestorm, newcomer Citizen Steel and other upcoming characters in a different perspective instead of being stuck to a straightforward plot.
But more than that, there might be a brewing romance between Mick and Amaya. Meanwhile, the powerhouse villains (Reverse-Flash, Damian Darhk, and Malcolm Merlyn) might still appear to crush the Legends.
Furthermore, Cinema Blend also noted that the upcoming antagonists might be better than Vandal Savage. Stay tuned for more updates regarding the upcoming Season 2.5 of The CW show, Legends of Tomorrow, here at GoshTV.
