The team continues to search for the Spear of Destiny in Legends of Tomorrow season 2 episode 14 Moonshot. This time around, their pursuit takes them to the NASA Headquarters in 1970 to where Nate’s (Nick Zano) grandfather Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull) possibly hid its last fragment.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 Episode 14 Synopsis

Comic Book Movie reckons Legends of Tomorrow season 2 episode will be fun as it continues to tackle the key plot about the Spear of Destiny. Hence, the continued fight of the Legends against the Legion of Doom.

“When the Legends track Commander Steel to NASA Headquarters in 1970, they learn where Nate’s grandfather hid the last fragment of the Spear of Destiny. The team notices a time aberration during the Apollo 13 mission and believes that the Legion of Doom might be involved. As the Legends journey into space to intercept Apollo 13, the Waverider suffers massive internal damage and Ray’s (Brandon Routh) life is left in jeopardy when he is stranded on the moon.”

The Legends of Tomorrow season 2 episode 14 sneak peek also reveals the presence of Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) onboard the Apollo 13. Moreover, it would appear he and Ray will go head-to-head in a fight. Yet it might not be the only fight to happen on this episode.

Indeed, the return of Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) will also bring about a power struggle between him and Sara (Caity Lotz). Hence, the question on who could be the captain now, Entertainment Weekly asks.

Amaya is on Team Sara

Episode 13 Land of the Lost saw Rip Hunter’s return to the team. During his absence, Sara became the team’s de facto leader. Yet it would appear Sara might stay in the position longer according to Maisie Richardson-Sellers (Amaya), at least for this mission to the moon.

Apparently, the team is still wary of Rip given what he has done recently. He reportedly accepts this. Hence, his decision to take a back seat for now and let Sara take charge.

Yet it would seem Amaya is on Team Sara. As it turns out, Sara is the only captain she has ever known. Hence, her choice to side with her.

Nonetheless, the issue does not divide the team. Instead, it creates a new dynamic between Sara and Rip. As a result, it brings a new energy to the team.
