Heo Joon Jae’s (Lee Min Ho) life will be in danger in the upcoming The Legend of the Blue Sea episode 18.
In the previous episode, Jo Nam Doo (Lee Hee Joon) teamed up with his childhood friend Kang Ji Yeon to kill Joon Jae’s father Heo Gil Joong. Jo Nam Doo has also realized that Shim Chung (Jun Ji Hyun) is a mermaid when he connected their previous conversations.
Fearing for her safety, Shim Chung also erased Ma Dae Young (Sung Dong Il) memories by touching him.
Unfortunately, it was revealed that the silver-tailed mermaid can only erase the memories from a person’s mind but it cannot change his heart.
Elsewhere, Joon Jae heard a voice message from his father apologizing for all the mistakes he made in his life. The con artist then decided to meet his father, leaving Shim Chung with Jo Nam Doo, the International Business Times reported.
When Joon Jae pulled in front of his father’s house, an ambulance was already there. He froze when he saw the medics carrying out a body on a stretcher – it was his father. At the hospital, the conman heard the confirmation of his father’s demise. Without enough time to grieve, Joon-Jae decided to return home to save Shim Chung from Jo Nam-doo, who is planning to sell her for millions.
