As it turns out, the deferral of Daredevil season 3 has a lot to do with The Defenders TV series. Indeed, Marvel TV and Netflix’s plans to bring together the lead superheroes of four separate shows is no small feat.
Nonetheless, this arrival of season 3 is certain. This was confirmed by actress Deborah Ann Wall in a previous interview. Thus, fans should not lose hope of seeing them back on the small screen.
Daredevil Season 3 Cast Returns
The original cast of Daredevil returns for season 3 according to IBTimes AU. Of course, no superhero series would be complete without its villain. Although confirmation about Vincent D’Onofrio’s character has yet to be announced. Nonetheless, it seems the actor enjoys playing the role a lot.
“He will [be back], eventually. Honestly, I wish I knew ‘cause I could plan my year better. I know he will come back, I just don’t know when. I can’t wait to find out. I’m totally into the Marvel stuff, big time. I want to do Marvel, all the time. I love it so much ‘cause they’re so creative over there,” D’Onofrio told Collider recently.
“They let you bring this whole new thing to an iconic thing that they invented. It’s just so much fun. I love it to death. I want to see Captain Marvel and Wonder Woman. There’s something about those movies. I dig the s**t out of them. I’ve been tweeting back and forth with James Gunn, about doing something with him because I love Guardians Of The Galaxy so much,” D’Onofrio added.
A Second Villain in Daredevil Season 3?
Aside from Fisk, early spoilers for Daredevil season 3 hint at the inclusion of Bullseye. Lead star Charlie Cox revealed his own interest in seeing this particular come on the show. Thus, Bullseye’s appearance could certainly add more spice to the story.
