A report claimed that Morgan who plays Negan in The Walking Dead season 7 follows a strict diet and workout routine to help him look good in the TV show. The site claimed that Morgan eats a can of tuna everyday for a week or two so that he could shed off the excess fats in his body.
According to the report, the Grey’s Anatomy actor weighed 175 pounds before his tuna diet. The actor reportedly followed this diet without the advice of a doctor or health professional, which is not advisable to do. Fortunately, Morgan achieved his dream body and he still looks good after following an unhealthy diet. He was able to shed a total of 45 pounds after his canned tuna diet.
Another leading actor who follows a strict diet and workout routine is Kit Harrington. Harrington is well-known for his character in the Game Of Thrones. The young actor knows he does not have a perfect body and admitted that he had been having a hard time to bulk his body up for he is a hard gainer. Harrington purportedly did a lot of cardio exercises and strength training to build his body and gain muscles.
Harrington followed a high calorie diet when he was still filming Pompeii, which required him to consume a total of 5000 calories daily. He also ate lots of good carbohydrates like brown rice and potatoes. He supplemented his diet with lean protein like chicken meat. All his efforts obviously paid off since he now looks leaner and more handsome.
Meanwhile, Sam Heughan of Outlander also does his share of workouts and diet plans. The actor regularly hits the gym to make his body big and strong for his role in the Starz series. According to the report, some of his exercises include Olympic lifts and dead lifts. The actor follows a clean diet which requires him to eat white meat, peanut butter and potatoes for carbohydrates.
Another report from the same outlet suggested that he is preparing his body for more filming dates. He will be filming with Caitriona Balfe in Africa, which made her excited about it saying, “I am really looking forward to filming in South Africa. I am really looking forward to that part of the story and also being in a new place. It’s going to be fun.”
The Walking Dead season 7 starring Morgan has garnered more audience due to the thrill the show provides. On the other hand, Outlander season 3 starring Sam Heughan is still under production.
