Grey’s Anatomy season 13 will pave the way for Jackson’s father to be revealed. He has been noticeably absent since the time he entered the series.
Since Jackson (Jesse Williams) arrived in the drama show in season 6, only his mother and grandfather was shown in the series. Jackson’s mother Catherine Avery (Debbie Allen) and grandfather Harper Avery (Chelcie Ross) has already appeared in the show but his father has been left unidentified.
Actress Sarah Drew, who plays as April in the hit show, revealed in a brief interview about the appearance of Jackson’s father for Grey’s Anatomy season 7.
Grey’s Anatomy Season 7 Reveals Jackson’s Father
“We are going to meet Jackson’s father,” she told Entertainment Weekly. However, she did not dish out who will play the character. What Sarah revealed was about the upcoming April and Jackson-centric episode, Pop Sugar said in a report.
“There’s going to be a Jackson and April episode, just the two of them,” she said. “We’re dealing with a case and it’s just the two of us in Montana for the whole episode.”
It is known that in previous Grey’s Anatomy season 13, April and Jackson are pushing for divorce, despite welcoming their new baby. But the episode will likely to show how they will rekindle their relationship.
Grey’s Anatomy Season 7 Allots April and Jackson Episode
When asked if April and Jackson will share a kiss for the episode, Sarah was careful not to reveal details about it. However, she hinted something positive about the couple’s romance.
Sarah said there will be a turning point for the two to work together as they head off to Montana. The actress added that its tone is very different from other the episodes. She said, “It’s really lovely. We’re really proud of the episode… it’s intimate and very adult.”
The episode of April and Jackson for Grey’s Anatomy has already been shot. Though there was no confirmed released date for the episode, it was reported to drop in March.
