iZombie Season 3 is set to feature a story focusing on zombie discrimination. This is what executive producer Rob Thomas announced during the Television Critics Association.
According to Deadline, one critic wondered if this plot will be the major storyline. This is because it is already in the airway before Thomas penned the third season. In addition, it was also asked if that was a logical place for the franchise to go to. After all, it obviously evolved more than expected.
Thomas on iZombie Season 3 and 4
According to the 51-year-old writer, it will reportedly become a much bigger issue on Season 4. Also, it will have a specific focus on zombie military outfit that helps on making the world safer when zombies are found out.
The cast of iZombie Season 3 includes Rose McIver. She plays the role of Olivia Moore, an overachiever medical resident. She officially became undead while she attends a party that turned out to be a Zombie feeding frenzy.
Meanwhile, she takes a job at the Coroner’s office in Seattle. While doing so, she started having visions. Apparently, it features the point of view of murders she committed, consuming brains from her every victim.
“The big mystery for the audience is trying to figure out whose side are we on? It is much more who has got the best plan for the zombies going forward,” Thomas said explaining Season 3 and 4.
What to Expect in Season 3
TV Guide reported that Malcolm Goodwin’s Clive will be the same as ever. This is despite knowing the zombies’ existence at the end of Season 2. As per the said source, he will still show the viewers his excellent reactions.
At times avid followers might see him going on with the flow, being put off, or just conversing with the brains in many different ways. So, the series chose not to lose that!
On the other hand, Season 3 will show Liv and Major eating brains of a father and daughter. Both were killed in a car accident. And as an ultimate spoiler, the latter source reported that Major is set to eat the teenage daughter’s brain. Furthermore, iZombie Season 3 returns on Apr. 4, 2017.
