Game of Thrones Season 7 debut is just months away and reports of fewer episodes than usual have already emerged.
GoT actor Iain Glen, who plays the role of Ser Jorah Mormont, reveals that the seventh season is only made up of seven episodes. Glen says the Emmy-winning show is still taking the same amount of time to shoot a three-episode less season as they would on a normal 10 episodes.
“They are taking the length of time it takes to shoot 10 episodes to shoot just seven this year and six next year… I think the scale and size of the set pieces, the world that is being created it’s just getting more and more extraordinary.”
Glen, however, clarifies to RadioTimes that it does not mean that the GoT’s final season will have only six episodes. The production of Game of Thrones Season 7 is expected to wrap up in mid-February.
Game of Thrones producers David Benioff and Daniel Weiss have previously said that the epic TV series will conclude with Season 8. They added that the final season will comprise between 13 and 15 episodes. HBO has yet to confirm how many episodes Season 8 will have.

I am sort of doing a head count,” the veteran actor says. Glen said he thinks it will be under ten people
