How to Get Away with Murder season 3 gets tougher for Annalise. Sadly, Frank’s confession might not be enough to get her out of jail.
Fans welcomed the second half of How to Get Away with Murder season 3 with Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) in a burgundy jumpsuit. Alas, she is in jail as a suspect in the murder of Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch).
Early on, lead star Viola Davis revealed things would apparently get worse for her character. Thus, Frank’s confession in episode 10 might not be enough to get her out of trouble.
Bonnie Talks About Frank’s Confession
With Annalise in jail, Bonnie (Liza Weil) had to step up and take on the huge task of getting her out. Unfortunately, she is struggling. The confession of Frank leaves her to handle everything on her own.
Ideally, Frank’s confession could have helped to throw out the cast against Annalise. However, Bonnie does not think it was any help at all. Instead, it seemed to complicate matters further.
“It just gives her more stuff to do now. It’s not as helpful. Part of that is because I don’t know if Bonnie is entirely convinced that she knows everything,” Weil told Entertainment Weekly.
Weil added that since Frank is not always honest with the things he’s been doing, there’s really no way to tell if he is saying the truth. The actress says that the confession only adds to the complicated situation.
Fans would note that the confession was something Frank and Bonnie discussed to help Annalise. Nevertheless, it still came as a surprise to Bonnie. Weil surmised that her character does not want anyone to take the fall for the murder.
How to Get Away with Murder Season 3 Episode 11 Spoiler
In episode 11 of How to Get Away with Murder season 3, Annalise remains in jail after the judge denies her bail. Still, the synopsis for Not Everything’s About Annalise might offer hope for her case’s early dismissal.
The preview reads, “Annalise’s life behind bars is a daily struggle that tests her sanity, but her future could change following a shocking confession to Wes’ murder. Meanwhile, the Keating 4 are unnerved by the scope of the DA’s investigation.”
Then again, Fansided thinks that Annalise won’t get her freedom so easily. According to the source, the District Attorney might disregard Frank’s confession since they want to keep Annalise behind bars.
