Here’s Why Justin Bieber is Linked with Beauty and the Beast

Those who grew up admiring Belle in Beauty and the Beast might show disappointment in the new doll. While the upcoming film adaptation is exciting, the toy version seems off from Emma Watson’s portrayal.

Parents who love the animated version must be excited to share their interest with their daughters. But buying them a film version of the Belle doll might not be a great idea.

No offense to Justin Bieber fans, but the replica of the main protagonist looks like him. According to Glamour, the Internet is “freaking out” about the uncanny resemblance.

A twitter user even wrote that the Belle doll looks more like a “Justin Bieber doll in a yellow dress & a wig.” Meanwhile, others think that there is more than it being a Bieber look-a-like.

“They got Emma Watson’s Belle doll looking like Lord Farquaad with a mix of the Queen of Hearts & a sprinkle of Justin Bieber. Who did this?” another wrote.

Colorado teacher William Herrington discovered the toy. His Flickr post became viral when Buzzfeed noticed it.

He told Mashable that the public is not expecting this from a well-known firm.

“Most of the Film Collection dolls don’t look 100 percent like the actors they are portraying, but they usually do have defining features,” Herrington said. “I don’t know what happened with this doll, but any resemblance to Emma just went out the window! She looks almost nothing like the talented, beautiful woman she’s supposed to portray.”

Both Emma Watson and Justin Bieber are yet to comment on the latest report. Meanwhile, the official poster of Beauty and the Beast is already out now.

The film advertisement focuses more on its human actors, Forbes noted. Either way, Disney fans might still be hyped about the live adaptation of Beauty and the Beast.

The film stars Watson, along with Dan Stevens, Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Ian McKellen, Emma Thompson, Ewan McGregor, Kevin Kline, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, and Stanley Lucci.

On the other hand, Bill Condon directed the flick. He, Evan Spiliotopoulos and Stephen Chbosky wrote the script.

Beauty and the Beast opens March 17, 2017.
