No new Hawaii Five-0 episode airs this Friday. However, the one week hiatus seems worth it as Hawaii Five-0 season 7 episode 19 spoilers promise an intense episode.

Erin Cebula of ET Canada visited the set of the series in Hawaii. The crew was preparing for its crossover episode with MacGyver.

Cebula spoke to MacGyver stars Lucas Till and George Eads as well as Five-0‘s Chin Ho Kelly (Daniel Dae Kim). The actors were willing to share some bits of the upcoming collaboration.

When the outlet asked about whether there is an opportunity for Till and Eads to take their shirts off given the tropical setting, the actors said no. Eads expressed his frustration by saying that being on set in Hawaii “is like being in a candy store and not sampling any of the candy.” Meanwhile, Till joked that he is not tan enough to do so.

It appears the MacGyver duo will head to Hawaii to help the Five-0 Task Force rescue victims of an earthquake. ET Canada describes the upcoming episode as follows:

“Mac [Till] and Jack [Eads], travel to Hawaii in an effort to help out the Five-O Task Force’s Chin Ho Kelly rescue a group of scientists trapped in the rubble following the collapse of a building. It’s a race against time for the complicated rescue in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake, but things may not be what they seem.”

Hawaii Five-0 Season 7 Episode 19 Twist

At surface level, the rescue mission seems to be the heart of the intense episode. However, Daniel Dae Kim reveals that the people trapped inside the rubble “might not necessarily be victims.”

This raises the question on whether there’s a criminal among the trapped group. Also, since the episode description specifies that the trapped group are scientists, there’s a possibility that the earthquake may not have been a natural phenomenon. Perhaps an experiment gone wrong?

This is simply speculation at this point. Hence, fans should be more excited for what’s to come.

Season 8 Potential

While fans wait for the next episode, more good news emerge for the series. Screener‘s Cancel Bear labels Hawaii Five-0 as most likely to be renewed for another season.

The source cites the series’ strong start for season 7. Screener details that Five-0‘s 18-49 season 7 rating ranks higher compared to season 6.

Another factor that the source considers is the show’s standing for its timeslot. Five-0 stands as the highest-rated scripted show airing on a Friday.

Hawaii Five-0 season 7 episode 19 airs on March 10. Catch the new episode at 10 p.m. in CBS.
