Everyone will work together in the upcoming Grimm season 6 episode 12 for one goal – protect Diana.
As the NBC supernatural series is heading to its series finale, more hearth-racing stories are about to unfold. This week, the dreaded Skull Guy will arrive in Portland and he intends to get Diana. Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) and the whole gang, including Renard (Sasha Roiz), are racing to find a way to keep Diana away from the Skull Guy.
To do that, Nick will have to go back to the scene of his first case as a Grimm. In episode 12, titled Zerstorer Shrugged, Nick and the team return to the cabin where he had his first crime scene.
In a sneak peek for Grimm season 6 episode 12, Renard is seen saying that there is no safe place for Diana. Then Diana, who possesses extreme power, exclaims the threat has finally arrived.
It looks like the villain, who is formally known as the Zerstörer, is seen getting close to Renard and Adalind’s (Claire Coffee) daughter. Towards the end of the teaser, the group is seen struggles to fight off the dark force bursting out of the mirror.
Meanwhile, Eve (Bitsie Tulloch), Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell), and Rosalee (Bree Turner) will finally uncover the origins of the mysterious stick. Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) are called to a crime scene that is linked to the dark force.
Don’t miss Grimm season 6 episode 12 on Friday (March 24) at 8 p.m. in NBC.
Likelihood of Grimm Season 7
NBC had confirmed in August 2016 that sixth installment of the show will be its last. The odds of the series to have another season will depend on streaming services’ interest in picking it up.
Executive producer Jim Kouf admitted that they are disappointed that the show has to end. However, he also teased that Grimm season 6 will end in a way that it could easily pick up where it left off. He told Yahoo TV:
“We are disappointed that it is coming to a close [but] 5 1/2 seasons were all they wanted. We were only done because NBC was done. If NBC said ‘more,’ we’d obviously do more. If [fan petitions worked and] Netflix said, ‘We’d do more episodes,’ we’d sure be interested in doing it.”
Meanwhile, Guintoli teased that Grimm series finale will not have a happy fairytale ending. However, he hinted that there will be more about Aunt Marie’s prophecy in the finale. In an interview with Blastr, he said:
“Well, I think the predictions from Aunt Marie and my mother Kelly more or less come true. And you can watch the fallout of those predictions coming true.”
