According to the cast, the final season will go back to “the great Portland greenery” and will meet a new enemy. Adding on, showrunner David Greenwalt revealed that a Hummel figure will appear in the forthcoming episodes.
Furthermore, hints also pointed out that Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) will be attached to the mysterious wooden magic stick in the start of the series. Meanwhile, Sean Renard (Sasha Roiz) tops the season and the city as the new mayor but it will all change in the third part of Grimm Season 6.
‘This is Not a Fairy Tale, The Stories are Real’
In Grimm’s official First Look video titled, Twists and Turns Await in Grimm’s Final Season, Roiz said Hadrian’s Wall and Black Claw are both decimated “so it’d really is Renard’s faction and Nick’s faction” who remains standing this season.
In addition to this, an extended video footage of Grimm’s cast and crew interview surface YouTube (via Social News XYZ).
Claire Coffee, who plays the role of Adalind Schade, said that season 6 will begin with the Captain [Renard] who is “very firmly” planted to the evil side.
“I don’t think he’s [Renard] going to move himself from that place,” Coffee said. Moreover, she also revealed that everyone is started to side with either Black Claw and Hadrian’s Wall and there will be a “civil war” -like fight in season 6.
In Giuntoli’s interview, the actor revealed that Nick is going to the dark side now. Adding on, he is totally in charge now and “he isn’t Nick Burkhardt boy detective any longer.”
On the other hand, Greenwalt revealed in Grimm Season 6, they are going to answer “a couple of very large question.” The team will tackle something about history. They will hit a lot of things since they already showed some things about Hitler, royalty, and world wars. Now, they will explore the stories that “have never been dealt before.”
Grimm Season 6 Episode 1 will premiere on January 6, Friday, on NBC.
