Glee is about to have a grand reunion in The Flash Supergirl crossover episode. Here’s what we know so far.
Everybody loved Glee, no buts and no whys. When the fever for this musical television series slowly faded away, fans kept their hopes up that someday they would see the cast in one show. Now, the wait is over as three members from the series is about to be seen in one frame again.
The actor appeared on Glee for five seasons and Gustin played as his love interest, reports TV Guide. Benoist, on the other hand, played the role of Marley Rose who appeared in the fourth and fifth seasons.
According to the source, Criss will play the role of the Big Bad Music Meister. The villain originally comes from the world of Batman. As a mind controller, he uses his music to hypnotize people and his conductor’s baton releases music sheet-like lasers.
EP on Glee Cast Reunion in The Flash Supergirl Crossover
Fans are not the only people excited for the upcoming Glee-like reunion in the crossover episode. Series executive producer Andrew Kreisberg expressed his thoughts about it too. He admitted that since Gustin and Benoist are Glee alum, Criss’ casting is perfect.
“…how could we not have them go up against another Glee favorite like Darren Criss?” the EP said before adding, “We have been blown away by his talent over the years and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the Music Meister.”
On a different note, The Flash Supergirl crossover will air on March 20 and March 21. The characters who will sing in the forthcoming musical episodes aside from the three Glee former cast are Broadway veterans Victor Garber, Jesse L. Martin, John Barrowman, Carlos Valdes, and Jeremy Jordan.
