Feud Season 2 Showrunner Teases Katy Perry TSwift Plot

Feud season 2
Ryan Murphy

The new anthology series from Ryan Murphy arrives in March. Yet his teaser for Feud season 2 seems to earn more interest.

TV audiences have another anthology series to watch out for from Ryan Murphy. The first installment of his latest masterpiece titled Feud: Bette and Joan arrives March 5 on FX. The eight-part series looks at the infamous row of screen legends Joan Crawford and Bette Davis.

Portraying them are equally famous actresses Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon, respectively. Aside from the friction between them, the story also brings to light the issue of ageism in Hollywood, according to the LA Times.

Chances of Feud season 2 Likely

The network has yet to pick up Murphy’s latest series for another installment. Thus, he revealed he has yet to think whom the next one would feature. Perhaps given his record of accomplishment, Variety seems certain a renewal for Feud season 2 is likely.

If so, then who would be next subjects of the Feud? Interestingly, Murphy teased about a great interest from fans to feature another case of bad blood in Hollywood. In contrast, the subjects would be more current. However, Murphy wants to stir clear of another Tinsel town should Feud season 2 happen. Instead, he promised future subjects of the series would be a mix.

“It will be very mixed. I think if we’re going to do feuds, we can’t just do Hollywood stories. I think we could do something from the 16th Century. I think the scope of the show can go back in time and history and it doesn’t have to be modern,” Murphy said.

“I would never do another Hollywood woman-versus-woman story, though people really want the Taylor Swift and Katy Perry. I get a lot of requests to please do Taylor and Katy, but I’m not going to,” Murphy added laughingly.

Then again, the series showrunner did show interest in a fresh new feud. The row Meryl Streep Donald Trump might have just begun. However, it seems promising enough for Murphy. Moreover, he expressed interest in getting the actress to play herself in the eight-part series.
