Family Feud host Steve Harvey will be going to court to answer the racism case he is involved in. The case was filed by his former employee.
According to Joseph Cooper, who worked for the host before, he has taped the comedian 20 years ago while making a racist statement. He said that Harvey stated rant on white people in a lot of occasions.
The complainant has filed the court documents in Dallas. Harvey is set to attend the hearing on January 23.

“I don’t give a s–t about America!” Family Feud host Harvey was quoted saying, as Cooper told.
Cooper also said that Harvey has encouraged racism to his fans to “spit on white people!” and even “Go assault old white women!”
He even called Harvey as “the worst person that’s ever been on television.”

Meanwhile, Harvey’s camp defended the host saying that Cooper was only trying to extort him out, Page Six said in a report. They said that the man from Dallas wanted to get $5 million from him through his recordings. He also auctionsHarvey’s previous videos.
The recordings were said to be taken in the 1990s, a Chron report said. Moreover, the recording has about 120 hours long of defamatory statements.
Harvey also released his statement saying Cooper wanted to damage his career when he was starting.
“Mr. Cooper has initiated a campaign to essentially extort me, coerce me and embarrass me as I started to build my entertainment career,” he said.
His lawyers also revealed that each time Steve Harvey will land a new job in the entertainment industry, Cooper will always appear and “contact executives to inform them about the embarrassing racist recordings he possessed.”
The Family Feud host has built $100 million business which encompassed radio, TV and even book publishing businesses under his own brand.
