Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) and his 51 crew put their lives at risk once again to deal with a deadly warehouse fire. However, their job is about to get more dangerous and personal.
As it turns out, one of those trapped in the blaze is the daughter of Chicago P.D.’s Alvin Olinsky (Elias Koteas). TV Guide hints it will be a rare show of emotion for Olinsky as he begs Boden to send his guys back in to rescue Lexi.
Chicago Med does not air on Wednesday. However, fans can expect to see doctors from the show appear during the course of the night.
Hence, watch out for S. Epatha Merkerson (Sharon Goodwin), Oliver Platt (Dr. Daniel Charles), Brian Tee (Dr. Ethan Choi), and Colin Donnell (Dr. Connor Rhodes) and other favorites from the show. In the first hour of the crossover, the Chicago Med staff will handle the arrival of those injured into the hospital.

The second hour features an investigation into the fire with Chicago P.D. taking the lead. Voight (Jason Beghe) and his team are tasked to find out how the fire started. Their determination to find who is responsible for it is likely stronger, as the daughter of one of their own fights for her life in the hospital.
Chicago Justice completes the crossover event with lead investigator Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) and prosecutor Peter Stone (Philip Winchester) taking on the arson case.
However, their work will not be easy. According to IBT, the suspect has a high-powered defense attorney on his side. Moreover, his lawyer is not above doing whatever it takes to keep his client out of jail.
