Empire season 3 will feature another top star. Desperate Housewives alum Eva Longoria will play a new character who is after Cookie’s ex, Lucious Lyon. Here is what we know so far.
The 41-year-old actress will play the role of Charlotte Frost. Based on the official character description, she is a “formidable director of the all-powerful state gaming commission.”
Charlotte will not only be a well-known company director but also a powerful woman who can make or break Lucious Lyon’s (Terrence Howard) dream. The hip-hop mogul’s plan to expand Empire Entertainment to Las Vegas could be at risk.
Reports also say that Charlotte is after Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) ex-husband. Beneath her seductive appearance lies a mysterious woman with “a force of darkness and corruption.”
Eva Longoria’s Other Works
According to TV Line’s exclusive report, Fox enlisted the veteran actress to feature in a multi-episode chapter for the series. Aside from her portrayal of Gabrielle Solis in Desperate Housewives, Longoria also served as executive producer to Devious Maids.
This is not her first time to guest star in multiple episodes for a show. She previously appeared in Brooklyn Nine Nine season 2 for four episodes. Currently, she is part of NBC’s Telenovela as Ana Sofia Calderon, a neurotic star of Las Leyes de Pasión.
