The new host of The Celebrity Apprentice, Arnold Schwarzenegger, fires back on his hosting predecessor, President-elect Donald Trump.

Schwarzenegger took to Twitter to slam Trump in the most classy way after the latter criticized the ratings of the new season of The Celebrity Apprentice. The viewership ratings of the reality TV show debut reached 4.95 million and recorded a 1.3 rating among adults aged 18-49. This is 44 percent below its 2015 premiere episode which Trump hosted, CNN reported.

As soon as the rating was known, the newly-elected US president quickly took on Twitter to throw shades on Schwarzenegger.  He said Schwarzenegger got “swamped” and “destroyed” in comparison to “the ratings machine,” referring to himself.

In response, the Terminator actor posted a series of tweet for Trump. In one message, he wrote: “I wish you the best of luck and I hope you’ll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.”

The former California governor also shared a video of himself quoting Abraham Lincoln and urged Trump to take it as an inspiration like he did. At the end of the clip, he said: “The campaign is over, the election is over, and we are not enemies. We are neighbors, we are friends, and most importantly, we are all Americans. And we have a lot of work to do to keep America great. So let’s do it. And let’s do it together.”

When Did the Bad Blood Between Trump and Schwarzenegger Started?

Yahoo News notes that this is not the first time Schwarzenegger has been vocal about his views regarding Trump. In October, he released a statement refusing to endorse the businessman as the Republican presidential candidate. The actor said he would not vote a Republican in the presidential election for the first time since becoming a citizen. He also urged other Republican Party members to do the same.

Trump had been the one who delivered the “You’re fired” line to The Celebrity Apprentice participants for the past 14 seasons. Schwarzenegger was named as his replacement after the real estate mogul announced his presidential candidacy last year.

The Celebrity Apprentice returns on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
