The latest of Cars 3 new trailer reveals that it is not as dark as the first teaser. But one thing is for sure, Lightning McQueen and the gang is back after years of waiting.
Last year, Pixar released the sneak peek of the animated film. But to surprise the fans, it was kind of dark, hinting the protagonist’s fate after a car accident.
“From this moment, everything will change,” states the first trailer. However, Clean Cut reported that the Cars 3 new trailer gives another hint to the fans.
While some are still thinking that the plot would be dark, the new teaser offers a more dramatic perspective. The preview revealed that McQueen still suffers from the car wreck.
More than that, he might find it hard to fully recover and race again. The times have changed and the technology advances as well; he might not be able to cope up with new cars.
The teaser is quite serious, without any punchlines or short gags. Unlike the first 2 movies, the third one might be going to a different direction.
After its release two days ago, the Cars 3 new trailer already has more than 1 million views. The end of the trailer is unfinished, which states “It is not over until Lightning…”
The trailer brought excitement to the fans, especially to those who were able to watch the first two films. Also, BGR noted that going into drama might be a good decision coming from Pixar. But despite its seriousness, the movie might be saving the gags for the moviegoers.
