Blindspot Season 2 returns on Wednesday and fans have been eager to see what happen to Special Agent Patterson.
The NBC hit series left a major cliffhanger when it took a break back in November. In its fall finale, Patterson’s (Ashley Johnson) life is in danger. It was revealed that Dr. Robert Borden (Ukweli Roach) was the mole for Sandstorm within the bureau when the head of the FBI Forensic Science Unit recognizes Borden’s ring. Viewers last saw the FBI psychiatrist and Patterson fighting when she tried to arrest him. Then a gun went off.
Who took the bullet? Can Weller’s (Sullivan Stapleton) team save Patterson in time?
Blindspot creator Martin Gero confirms to TVGuide that Patterson is in big trouble when the series resumes this week. “She’s in more trouble than I think anyone thought we would put her in. She’s going to need the team more than she ever has in this episode. It’s one thing for someone to be in trouble, but now it’s Patterson, and all of America loves Patterson! It’s must-see viewing,” he teases.
Meanwhile, Entertainment Tonight shares a sneak peek of Blindspot Season 2 Episode 10. In the trailer, Jane (Jaimie Alexander) lies to his brother Roman (Luke Mitchell) about who really wiped his memory. She tells him it was their mother, Shepherd (Michelle Hurd), who was responsible for taking away his memories.
In the previous episode, Jane erased all of Roman’s memories to give him the same second chance she had.
What else to expect in Blindspot Season 2?
More exciting revelations, Gero assures. He hints that every Blindspot question will be answered in the next episodes of the series.
“I’m so excited about the rest of the season because we’re going to give answers to almost every Blindspot question. What is Phase Two? How is Weller connected? What is Shepherd’s plan? Big pieces of mythology are going to fall into place over these next 13 episodes at a pretty astounding clip.”
Don’t miss Blindspot Season 2 Episode 10 on Wednesday at 8/7c on NBC.
