NBC is about to dig another grave in the upcoming episodes of Blindspot season 2. The death is unexpected and lead actress Jaimie Alexander called it “shocking.”
According to reports, NBC’s American drama series will feature another death. The show already did this before with Assistant Director of the FBI’s NY Field Office, Bethany Mayfair. The death of Marianne Jean-Baptiste’s character is something fans did not see coming especially when the killer is someone they knew, Oscar (François Arnaud).
TV Guide noted that Alexander, who plays Jane Doe, admitted that she felt the same about this other death. The actress revealed that she only knew about the scene when she read the script last week.
“There is a very shocking death that’s coming up that I just read last week that I didn’t know was going to happen,” Alexander said. “It’s very sad,” she added.
As of this writing, there have been no other updates about the unfortunate character. No one knows if this will be a murder or an accident. What’s for sure is, the event will have “major repercussions” for Jane and Co., TV Guide reports.
The “big exit” will take place in the upcoming Episode 16. The part will likely air in February.
