The dreams of Big Trouble are within their reach but Star finale spoilers reveal they have to fight hard to achieve it.
The Star finale in Showtime airs this Wednesday March 15 on FOX. At this point, Big Trouble has made it to the finals of the Atlanta NextFest. The talented, young singers are determined to work hard to perfect their routine and win.
However, would it be enough to secure their musical dream of a recording contract and fame? Then again, would it mean the end for the trio, Broadway World asked.
Star Finale Synopsis
The synopsis of the Star finale posted by IBT talks about the ongoing struggles of each member of Big Trouble.
“Star (Jude Demorest) deals with the aftermath of Hunter’s (Chad James Buchanan) actions. Derek (Quincy Brown) and Alex (Ryan Destiny) struggle to make a decision about their future. The girls put the finishing touches on their routine as Atlanta NextFest approaches. Carlotta (Queen Latifah) wants to mend broken relationships.”
In spite of their own personal issues, the girls remain focused on their goal. Chances are Star sees a win at the Atlanta NextFest as her chance to leave Hunter for good. Indeed, she would have the means to support herself. Hence, she would not have to put up with his violence.
Meanwhile, Alex finds out she is pregnant. Moreover, Derek could remain crippled for the rest of his life. Hence, she contemplates the future with a baby on the way and more importantly, a music career on the horizon.
Carlotta hopes to mend her relationship with Cotton (Amiyah Scott). Yet with all the animosity between them, could she have a chance to do so?
Star Finale Promo
The Star finale promo video reveals only Star, Simone, and Alex will perform at the Atlanta NextFest. Jahil (Benjamin Bratt) forced Big Trouble to include Eva (Sharlene Taulé) because he signed them up as a group of four. Simone found out it was a lie. So, it gave the girls good reason to kick her out of the group.
The freshman drama series received good news early from FOX for its second season last February. According to TV Line, 6.7 million viewers watched the premiere of Star.
The demo rating of the series was at 2.2. It reportedly ranks third among the network’s roster of drama after Empire and Lethal Weapon. Likewise, FOX also renewed both shows early on.
