American Horror Story has been able to successfully terrify its viewers since 2011. However, the series is returning for a season 7, and here is what we know so far about it:
The seventh season will also see the return of two regulars, who has been associated with the show since the start.
American Horror Story Returning With Season 7
There has not yet been an update on the theme of the upcoming season. However, the production team is likely to drop the hint soon. But, going by season 6, fans may have to wait a while for any kind of update on the theme.
However, it is going to have some kind of connection with the Freak Show and it will be a modern-day story.There has been no announcement on the release date yet. However, the upcoming season can be expected to launch around September and October.
The first five seasons of the series started airing during October and the sixth season was dropped in September. According to Murphy, the season 7 theme came to him all of a sudden.
“It comes to me as it always comes to me. I sit up in bed and I say ‘That’s it!,’” he said, the Capital FM reported. “I have been mulling a couple of ideas and I wasn’t loving it. Then I was thinking of this other thing and I literally sat up in bed and said ‘That’s it!’ Whenever it happens it’s such a relief because it’s so much pressure.”
Although Murphy previously said that there will be crossovers, they won’t be happening in season 7.
The Returning Regulars on Season 7
American Horror Story will have two series regulars returning Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters for the seventh season. Murphy confirmed the news on Thursday at the Television Critics Association’s winter press tour, the Hollywood Reporter reported.
The duo has been consistent on the show while it kept juggling the cast every season. The two recently played a married couple. The duo was cast opposite each other for the first time and it delivered a few great moments.
However, there has been no confirmation on any of the other cast members.
